Terms & Policies

Dynamite Gymnastics Center β€” North Bethesda, MD

These policies keep our classes and camps safe, fair, and running smoothly for every family. By enrolling, you agree to the terms below. Questions? Email hello@dynamitegc.com or call (301) 770-2700.

Class Enrollment & Registration

Enrollments require approval β€” please wait for your confirmation email before coming to the gym. Tuition reserves your spot in a class; it isn't payment for a set number of classes, and is calculated on an average of four classes per month (holidays included). If you enroll mid-month, you'll be billed for the remaining weeks, then on the 1st of each month after that. Tuition pre-pays the upcoming month and is charged on the 1st to the card on file. You remain enrolled until you submit a formal withdrawal.

Makeup Tokens & Hold

We offer makeup tokens as a courtesy when your child has to miss a class. To earn one, submit the absence through the Parent Portal at least 48 hours in advance; the token is issued after the missed class. Tokens work like a class swap β€” use one to join another class when a spot is open. You must be continuously enrolled (in a class or on Hold) to redeem them, and tokens aren't available for team athletes, closed pods, or discounted tuition. Need to step away briefly? A Hold is $25/month β€” it keeps your tokens active but does not reserve a class spot.

Drops & Withdrawals

To withdraw, email hello@dynamitegc.com by the 15th of the month to drop at the end of that month (or at any point in the following month). Once the 15th passes, full tuition is charged on the 1st. Please note: a phone call, an in-person request, or a portal request alone does not count β€” an email is required, and refunds aren't given for missed deadlines.

What to Wear

Please arrive with hair tied back, in athletic clothing free of buttons, belts, and zippers β€” leggings, shorts, tank tops (no bare midriffs), and t-shirts, or a leotard. Shoes, socks, water bottle, and belongings go in a cubby, and socks are only worn on the in-ground trampolines.

Camp Registration & Payment

Camp tuition is charged in full once your registration is finalized, which secures your child's spot β€” camp is limited and we staff based on enrollment, not attendance. Tokens can be applied to camp tuition (Full Day = 21 tokens + $260; Half Day = 12 tokens + $170), and your camper must stay continuously enrolled (in a class or on Hold) through the camp month.

Camp Cancellations, Credits & Switches

Once camp is approved, no refunds are issued. Cancel before March 31 for a full account credit, before May 31 for 50%, and after May 31 no credit is given (returned tokens follow the same schedule). Weekly camp isn't prorated, and no credit is given for days a camper doesn't attend. You may switch weeks or gyms once, space permitting: free more than 30 days out, a $35 fee within 30 days, and no switches within one week of the start.

Camp Drop-off, Pick-up & After-care

Drop-off is flexible, but campers must be picked up by 4:30 pm. Any camper still here at 4:31 pm is walked to The Agility Center for after-care (4–5 pm) at $15/day. Optional before-care (7:30–8:30 am, through the Dynamite portal) and after-care (through The Agility Center's portal) are available at $15/day or $50/week.

What to Bring to Camp

Campers should wear a well-fitted leotard or athletic clothing free of zippers, buckles, and belts; stud earrings only; hair tied back; and no cell phones or electronics (we keep a phone on hand for emergencies). Pack a water bottle, morning and afternoon snacks, lunch for full-day campers, and extra socks for the trampolines; young campers should bring a spare change of clothes. Please send only nut-free food β€” including items processed in facilities that handle nuts.

Camp Health Forms

Maryland requires completed health forms for every camper, and campers can't participate without them. The forms are linked on our website and take about 20 minutes. Campers who don't attend Montgomery County Public Schools must also email immunization records to camp@dynamitegc.com, and any camper who needs emergency medication must submit documentation at the front desk on the first day.

Camp Safety & Behavior

Every camper is expected to follow our gym safety rules; counselors give friendly reminders, but willful, repeated disregard for safety may lead to removal with no refund or credit. We also require respectful behavior at all times β€” bullying, threats, or physical aggression are not tolerated and may result in removal. Please don't bring sick children to camp, and note that under USA Gymnastics Safe Sport, our staff cannot assist with toileting, feeding, or dressing.

Inclement Weather

Dynamite Gymnastics Center generally follows Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) for weather closures. Makeup classes will be offered when possible.

Code of Conduct

We expect all students, parents, and guardians to treat coaches and fellow students with respect. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from class without refund.
