After years of experience running Dynamite Gyms, we are now excited to launch Elite Cryo Recovery.

Being all about sports and fitness, we realized that more needs to be done to rehab in between workouts and practices. After researching the newest technologies, we found the Whole Body Cryotherapy chamber and Sunlighten Infrared Sauna to be the most effective, and now Elite Cryo Recovery offers these technologies to athletes and anyone else wanting to experience their benefits.

Located inside Bolt Parkour & Freerunning Academy, Elite Cryo is conveniently located in White Flint in Rockville, Maryland.

Cryo chamber

Elite Cryotherapy

Whole body cryotherapy exposes the body to the extreme cold temperatures necessary to simulate hypothermia. A side effect of your body's reaction to this type of cold therapy is the diverting of blood from the extremities to the core, while in the core the blood is enriched with oxygen and nutrients. When this super oxygenated blood is returned to the limbs it helps with swelling and pain, joint function, sports recovery, immune function, metabolism, and sleep just to name a few!

This form of treatment is more preferable for chronic pain than cold water immersion and ice packs.

aromatherapy oils

Aromatherapy is a gentle form of therapy that can address health problems from anxiety to poor sleep.

In this kind of treatment, you use extracts from plants called essential oils, by either breathing them through your nose or putting them on your skin. Some people put the oils on their skin when they get a massage or take a bath.

We also provide hot stones that you can use to help massage those tired, aching muscles. Enjoy using a personalized aromatherapy infused steamed towel while in the sauna, as well as a dry towel for afterwards.

infrared sauna

Infrared Sauna

The infrared sauna uses light to create heat.  A traditional sauna uses heat to warm the air, typically at temperatures between 180 - 220°F, which in turn warms your body.  An infrared sauna heats your body directly (using electromagnetic radiation) without warming the air around you, maintaining a temperature no greater than 150°F. Supporters of infrared saunas say the heat penetrates more deeply than warmed air.

Sauna promotes better sleep, relaxation, detoxification, weight loss, relief from sore muscles, improved circulation, and more.
